CP Kids and Families Adapted Bike Shop
In 1999, we started our adapted bike program by subsidizing the purchase of adapted bikes for children affected with cerebral palsy. As the children grew, we would cycle these bikes from one child to another making minor and sometimes major changes to the bike to adapt to each child’s strengths and needs. We initially contracted a third party shop to help us with these adaptations, but soon realized we could maintain and adapt these bikes in house. In 2022, we opened the doors of our shop to the public.
We have expert knowledge in fitting and adapting bikes. The CP Kids and Families Adapted Bike Shop has adapted bikes for hundreds of children, youth, and adults of all abilities.
